Secerno is Declared Winner in the 2007 Lion’s Den
Secerno has emerged victorious from the Lion’s Den at Infosecurity, where seven of the most exciting vendors pitching products to a panel of the leading buyers and experts in the Information Security Industry. The Lion’s Panel chaired by Colonel John Doody also included Ray Stanton, Paul Simmonds, Colin Clark, John FitzGerald and Tony Lock; widely recognised as some of the best judges of security products in the world.
Each Vendor was given two minutes to pitch their products, followed by a tough inquisition by the panel. The panel voted for their favorite product – Secerno. The panel felt that Secerno really had a compulsive offering that will provide clear and significant security benefits for the protection of data.
Secerno has won the Innovation Award in the 2007 European SC Magazine Awards. The award was presented at the SC Awards gala dinner held at the Hurlingham Club in London. SC Award winners are selected by an international group of senior CSOs, who voted for Secerno in the prestigious Innovation Award category. A key judging criteria for determining winners was they should be making “a significant contribution to genuine technical progress or change in the InfoSec business”.
Secerno has been named as a recipient of Red Herring 100 Europe, an award given to the top private technology companies based in the EMEA region each year. Red Herring’s editorial staff rigorously evaluated more than 700 private companies through a careful analysis of financial data and subjective criteria, including quality of management, execution of strategy, and dedication to research and development.
On 25th October 2006, Secerno was voted Start-up Technology Company of the Year in the Computing Awards for Excellence. This award recognises Secerno as having shown exceptional innovation and excellence as a start up. Secerno was selected for this award by a panel of the most influential and powerful decision makers in the sector.
