Voltage SecureFile allows users to transparently secure files on portals and intranets. With just a single click, sensitive business documents that contain patient health information (PHI), financial statements or intellectual property can be easily secured to authorized recipients. Once secured, these documents can be exchange via email, portals and FTP or stored locally on a desktop machine or USB token. With the file secured by Voltage SecureFile, the information is always protected no matter where the document travels.
Secure Business Documents Quickly and Easily
Voltage SecureFile is a desktop module that enables enterprise to secure sensitive business documents to ensure regulatory compliance. Files can be secured to a single recipient, multiple individuals, or distribution lists with just a single step. Based on the underlying breakthrough Identity-Based Encryption technology, all that is needed to encrypt and sign a file is the authorized recipient's email address. Likewise, decryption is also transparent to the end user - if you are authorized to open the file, just double click on it and the document will open within the associated application.
Voltage SecureFile also provides Secure Wipe functionality, the ability to completely remove files and ghost images from storage, in compliance with US DoD standards.

- Files are secured in transit and at rest: After files are secured (encrypted and signed) by Voltage SecureFile, the file remains secured from unauthorized access no matter what communication medium it travels through (e.g. FTP or email) or what storage medium it is saved on (e.g. desktop, portals, and removable storage devices).
- Flexible Authentication Options: Together with the Voltage SecurePolicy Suite, Voltage SecureFile provides administrators the broadest range of authentication options for recipients. Voltage SecureFile supports self-provisioning mechanisms such as Email Answerback, as well as more sophisticated options such as Active Directory and two-factor authentication.
